Donald Barber Obituary

Don Barber 10/5/1933 - 02/16/2021 Grand Raids MI, 87, passed away on Feb.16, 2021 peacefully in his sleep.

Don was born in Grand Rapids and raised by the late Frances (Doc) and Ethel Barber. He was the middle child between Frank (Roseann) Barber of Midland and Carol (Dick) Newville of Irons.

He graduated from Grand Rapids Creston High School then proudly served in the US Navy. After discharge he worked at General Motors Diesel Division for 42 years.

Don loved to travel after retirement and served as campground host throughout the western states and Alaska.

Don will be deeply missed by his children, Scott, Mark, Dennis (Sandy), Betsy and John (Lisa). Grand Children – Alex, Eric, Sara, Adam, Lisa, Aaron, Paige, Austin, Katy, Stuart. Great Grand Children, Nicoli, Kaleb, Kelsey, Pierce, Skylar and due in April Indy.
