Schollaart, Donald L. age 92, left this world on November 17, 2025.
He is survived by his children Kimberly, Donald, Shelly, Rodney, and their families; and his brother in-law George Riddering.
He is preceded in in death by his beautiful wife Mary, daughter Janell, daughter Brenda, sister Virginia Fischer, and his brothers Martin and Edwin. He is also preceded in death by sister in-law Virginia Schollaart, and Rita Kavanaugh.
Don was among other things, a devoted husband, a caring father, and a legendary teacher, where many of his often-repeated sayings are still being remembered. Don was also basketball and tennis coach. And a colorful and entertaining PA announcer. He was a fairly good tennis player and a struggling golfer who managed to make a hole in one. Don was a suffering tigers and Lions fan, a loyal Democrat, and an Agnostic.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services.
