Born in Maben, Mississippi in 1934, he was the son of Rube and Lillian (Peak). He had 10 siblings that meant the world to him. Many nieces and nephews most of whom considered him their “favorite uncle”.

His hobbies included guitars, guitars, guitars and guitar building. His artistic talent was unsurpassed in leather tooling and wood-working. He loved working on old cars, particularly the Ford Mustang. He also loved his Ford F150 pick- up truck.
He will be remembered for his deep southern drawl and his keen play on words. His love of classic country music and his willingness to teach music to anyone who wanted to learn, free of charge. He enjoyed spaghetti westerns and anything cowboy. Our asses will forever remember his boot size.
