Elsie “Ann” Garcia, Age 83, gained her angel wings on Saturday, April 22nd, 2023 at her home in Grand Rapids, MI. The world welcomed Elsie on May 1st 1939, a day the world became a little brighter. Elsie was dazzling person that lived a full and warm life, filled with happiness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Juan Garcia; son, Oliver Perez; and siblings, Ed Pierce, Liz Guerrero, Leona Goodfellow, Ralph Pierce and Mitchell Holland. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by her children, Ron (Lori) Garcia of Newaygo, Brian Miller of Ionia, Raymond Perez of Grand Rapids, Domingo Garcia of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Damian, Tiara, Ron, Sarah, Jason, Christopher, Chantel, Joshua, Nico, DeLaini; and many great-grandchildren. As per Elsie’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. “There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart.” -Ghandi.
