Evelyn M. Fletcher

Evelyn Mae Fletcher was called home to be with her Lord and Savior and January 23, 2026

Evelyn was known for her rich kindness, compassion, appreciation of nature, love of family and friends and caring for animals.

She was the loving wife to Donald Fletcher for fifty-three years, and a kind and caring mother to her children Margie Fletcher, Donald Fletcher Jr., Carlton (Laurie) Fletcher, and Darrell (Colleen) Fletcher, along with her eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Evelyn is also survived by her four siblings Debbie Scharf, Rosie Hawthorn, Carrie Van Wieren, and Earl Price Jr.

All whom will never forget her beautiful smile, and the love she brought to their lives.

Evelyn lives on through the joy she shared, her generous heart, and the memories we will cherish forever.

Evelyn will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (2894 Patterson Ave. SE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49512) at 2pm on Wednesday January 28, 2026.  A gathering of family and friends will take place following the interment to celebrate Evelyn's life at 4:30pm at the home of Carlton and Laurie Fletcher.
