Frederick Booth Obituary

Frederick (Fred) Alan Booth passed away peacefully at home with his family surrounding him on February 21, 2024 after a short illness battling pulmonary fibrosis.

Fred was born on December 28, 1954 to Robert and Bernadette Booth. He attended Kentwood schools. Fred married Barbara April 30, 1982. He worked hard all his life; driving for Canteen for 30 years and then started his second career as a property manager where he retired from Sun Communities in 2020.  Fred was a patient and kind man who never lost his cool. He was always nice to everyone and a natural caretaker. He took care of his family and worked two jobs to support them. He was a baseball coach to his three stepsons, and his daughter, Chelsea, who was the light of his life.

Fred is survived by his wife Barbara, his daughter, Chelsea Booth, his step children; Stephanie (Jim) Mulcahy, Brian (Alicia) Gravitter, Matthew Gravitter, and the late Todd Gravitter. He had seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Fed is also survived by his siblings, Bob (Jodi) Booth, Rick (Gail) Booth, Becky Reeder, Ed (Laurie) Booth, Carrie (Terry) Haugen, and Valerie (Rick) Haugen.
