Gertrude Marina (VanEss) Bergman slipped away peacefully into heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on November 22, 2020 in her home.

She was known for her spunk and strength even though she was small in stature. She is missed. She was proud of her longevity and wondered many times why she was still on this earth.

Gertrude came to America at the age of 7 from the Netherlands. She was married to John Bergman for 56 years. She was preceded in death by her husband John, grandson Ben and great grandson Isaac.

She leaves behind 2 daughters and husbands Sandra and Watson Joyce and Linda and Matthew Elenbaas, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grand children, and 17 great great grandchildren.
