Gordon Fredrick Cook

Gordon “Gordy” Cook age 81 went to his Lord and Savior on September 30, 2021. He is preceded in death by his biologic parents Paul and Juanita Cook, the parents he was raised by Ivan and Olive Brown, and his son Michael Cook. Gordon is survived by his wife of sixteen years Judi Cook, his children Richard (Pat) Cook, Douglas (Christy) Cook, Diane (Bruce) Nota. He is also survived by two stepdaughters Debra Banka (Tim Cunigan) and Dawn Fiedorowicz, thirteen grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren, and his three sisters Rosalyn Boyol, Sandra Herrick, and Gloria Hall, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Gordy had many joys in life. He was an avid joke and story teller. Gordy also had a love for woodworking and being outside. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting along with many other hobbies.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 twelve o’clock at Memorial Alternatives 2432 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids MI 49505 with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
