James "David" Baranowski

James “David” Baranowski, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

David was a father, family member, and loyal friend whose presence touched the lives of many. He will be remembered for his quick wit, sarcastic sense of humor, and the countless memories he created with those who knew and loved him. Whether sharing a laugh, enjoying time with family and friends, or cheering on his favorite teams, David had a way of leaving a lasting impression on everyone around him.

David is survived by his son, Karsyn; his father, Jim; his sister, Emily, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who will cherish his memory.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Baranowski; his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Virginia Baranowski; his maternal grandparents, Frank and Jean Moshier; and his aunt, Tracy Moshier.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who knew David to honor his memory in a way that reflects the relationship you shared with him. Play a round of golf, cheer a little louder at the next Detroit Lions or Michigan State game, enjoy a night of bowling, or raise a beverage in his honor while remembering the good times.
