James R. Shoebridge

James Roy Shoebridge, 79, of Hastings, MI, passed away on 27 January 2026 at Butterworth Hospital.

Jim was born in Hastings to Richard and Nina Shoebridge. He spent 20 years in the US Airforce reaching the rank of Tech Sargent, after he spent his time as a handy man that loved to work on car and go fishing. He was a man with a huge heart that would help everyone in need even over his own wellbeing.

Jim is survived by Jan wife of 50 years. Children: Le Brenda, James, Duane, Bruce, Jeremy and Jennifer along with eleven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Along with five siblings Delbert, Deloris, Sue, Lorrine, and Sanday.

He will be sorely missed by everyone that knew him.
