Janet Fisher

Our dear mother, Janet Faye Fisher, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, October30, 2023 at the age of 76. Jan was born on June 15, 1947 to John and Marian Ruth De Kok in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Jan was a wonderful and faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family and friends. She had an unconditional love for her children and grandchildren.  It didn't matter if you were family or a friend, she was always there to lend a helping hand or say a prayer. Jan is survived by her Uncle Bud Joling, her brothers Kenneth (Patricia) De Kok and Lee (Millie) Ten Brink and their beautiful families, daughter Julie (Eric) Ahlfeld, son Jeffrey Scholten and daughter Kristin (Rory) Burnett. Her grandchildren Brayden (Jordyn) Ahlfeld, Trenten (Alexis) Ahlfeld, Morgen Ahlfeld, Jacob Robles, Faith (Kyle Fisher fiancé) Burnett, and Allison Burnett.  Two very special great granddaughters who she got to be a GiGi for, Annalise and Ava Ahlfeld. 

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial held at Covenant Christian School to celebrate and remember Jan on November 18, 2023 at 1:30 pm.  Jan had a desire for all her great grandchildren to have the ability to attend Covenant Christian School. We would love to make that become a reality and hopefully help other children in need attend Covenant as well. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations sent to Covenant Christian School. We would like to start The GiGi Fund.
