Jill Dines

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jill Dines, a giving friend, a remarkable woman, and a dedicated mother. Jill joined heaven’s chorus Thursday, March 14, 2024 late in the evening. She was 62 years old. 

Jill will be deeply missed and always remembered for her infectious laugh and bright smile. Jill's nurturing spirit, unwavering support, and boundless love will forever live on in the hearts of her children and twin sister. Jill was a hard worker and her dedication for her work was unmatched. A majority of her career was with AT&T. In her 35 years there, she made many friends and cherished memories. After retiring she worked at the Amway Campus in Ada in multiple positions. 

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jill was known for her warm and caring personality. She had a generous heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Jill's memory will be forever cherished by her family, friends, and colleagues. Her legacy as a mother, and friend will endure, and her spirit will continue to inspire us all. In our hearts, Jill lives on, and we will forever honor the legacy of a remarkable woman who made a lasting impact on the world.

In her life Jill enjoyed many hobbies and passions. Her love of music, pets, gardening and travel started early on in her life. These grew into passions that included her family, cooking, the outdoors, reading, crafting in a multitude of ways, and most important to her was her family and her love for the LORD.  

Jill is preceded by her father and husband. She will be deeply missed by her mother, twin sister, daughter, and daughter of her heart. 

A memorial service for the family will be held on Tuesday March 26, 2024, in Grand Rapids, MI. A time of fellowship and celebration of her life will follow the service. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to either, Humane Society of West Michigan or NationalBreastCancer.org
