Jo Ann (Costanzo) Klopcic

Jo Ann Klopcic, age 63, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on June 7, 2020. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lillian Costanzo. Jo was a tremendous wife, mother, grandma, aunt and friend. She had a way of impacting each and every person she was in contact with. Her smile would light up a room, and she always enjoyed spending time with her family.

Jo Ann will be incredibly missed by her husband of 36 years, Dale; her sons: Andrew (Deanna) & Jake; and beloved granddaughter: Lilliana Grace. She also will be missed by the countless family and friends that she has positively impacted along the way and the second sons that she was always willing to take in and make feel welcomed as friends of her sons.

Jo was the strongest, most brave, selfless, and loving person and will be missed dearly.

Dear family and friends-

Our family has decided to postpone Jo's Celebration of Life party on August 16th until 2021 due to the growing COVID-19 concerns. With over 280 RSVPs already planning on attending, we felt it would be hard to keep a safe environment given the current Covid rules of social distancing and mask wearing while also trying to celebrate the life of such an amazing woman. The health and safety of our closest friends and family is incredibly important during these times. 

Jo wanted a Celebration with family and friends getting together in a fun and relaxed setting. We feel that by postponing until next year, we can honor Jo's wishes even better (hugging, kissing, and laughing).

Thank you to all that have reached out to us through visits, calls/texts, emails, Facebook, prayers, and the many cards. We appreciate each and every one of you and look forward to celebrating with you all in 2021. Love to all.
