Johanna M. Kriegbaum, 92, died May 17, 2021 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Born October 30, 1928 in Richmond, Indiana to John and Marjorie Eudaly, she married Robert B. Kriegbaum, also of Richmond, on her 20th birthday. Widowed since February 7, 2017, she is now happily reunited with her beloved husband.

Both are dearly missed by their daughters Margaret Kriegbaum and Catherine Kriegbaum and their three grandchildren, Matthew Biggs, Jonathan Biggs, and Emily Smalligan.

Johanna was first and foremost a people person. She was fortunate to have many dear friends throughout her lifetime – both young and old alike who were recipients of her genuine care and concern. She was an engaging conversationalist, keeping up socially with the times and intellectually with current events.

A lifelong learner to the very end, she taught those of us dearest to her what it means to care deeply and love greatly.
