Jon L. Tessin

Tessin, Jon 82 years old passed away November 8, 2025 after a long illness. Jon was the son of Laurence G. Tessin and Florence E. Tessin. Jon leaves behind his significant other of over forty years Lois Chayne, James Chayne, Adam (Michelle) Beall, and Jason (Carrie) Beall. Jon also leaves behind his grandson Tyler Beall.  He is survived by his brother Gerald (Linda) Tessin, niece Tracy (Trevor) Hautajarvi and nephew David (Caitlin) Tessin along with his great nieces and nephew Ryan Hautajarvi, Paige Tessin, Garrett Tessin Elle Tessin and Emme Tessin.

Jon work for the city of Grand Rapids water department for thirty years, as a shift supervisor.

A celebration of Jon’s life will be held at 4pm on Wednesday December 10, 2025 at New Beginnings Restaurant located at 5400 Division Ave S, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49548
