Joseph Weber 75 of Sparta, MI
On March 31, 2025, surrounded by family, Joe entered his eternal resting place after a long, brave battle with cancer. Joe was from Grand Rapids, MI and a graduate of Lee High School. He is proceeded in death by his wife Ellen whom he married on October 10 of 1972, his daughter Tracy, his parents Robert and Erna Weber, sister and brother-in-law Marlene and Doyle McKenney, sister-in-law Rosalind Weber, brother-in-law James Poelstra and nephew Andy McKenney. Joe is survived by his son Travis (Holly) Weber, grandchildren Collin (Alexis) Weber, Gage Weber, Ainsley Weber, brother Robert Weber, great grandchildren Ella and Charlie Weber, sister-in-law Marcia Hale and sister-in-law Sue Poestra, brother and sister-in-law James and Laurie McNitt and many nieces and nephews.
Joe enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and spent much of his life camping at Oxbow on the Hardy Dam with family and friends. He loved his family more than anything and enjoyed vacationing and going on adventures with them. Joe was a lifetime gold member of the Casino Club where he received his bowling ring for a perfect 300 game in bowling.
A celebration of life will be held at The Sparta Civic Center on April 17, 2025 from 5:30-8pm at 75 N. Union st #4 Sparta, MI 49345.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Algoma Christian School in Kent City.
