Julia (Rasmussen) Colvin
Obituary
Julia Colvin (nee Rasmussen), aged 86. University of Michigan graduate, artist, art teacher, GRAM docent and women’s committee member, tennis coach, European bicycle traveler and best friend to husband John for 64 years, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
She is survived by sons: Peter (Deb), Jeff (Elaine) and Todd (Jayne) who blessed her with wonderful, high achiever grandchildren; Cody, Chris and Mackie (deceased); Noah, Sterling and Landon; Zach and Dane.
Julia is also survived by her siblings: Alice (Mike-deceased) Dodgson, Harvey (Rita) and Peter (Nancy) Rasmussen and their wonderful children and grandchildren.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial celebration of her life will be held.
