It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Karen Joy (Ayers) Bellah, who was welcomed to her eternal home by her Lord and Savior on October 1, 2024. Karen was born January 4, 1962, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Art (Harold) and Patricia Ayers. She is preceded in death by her parents, her older sister Paulette Belile, her brother-in-law John Belile, Sr. and her older brother Jerry Ayers. Karen is survived by her brothers Bruce (Kim) Ayers of Belmont, and Marvin Ayers (significant other Nancy Christiansen) of Rockford, niece and nephews, a grandniece and grandnephews and many loving cousins. She is also survived by her ex-husband Dennis Bellah and her step-son Douglas Bellah.
Karen was a breast cancer survivor and also an avid dog lover. She enjoyed camping and riding her motorcycle and spending time with the many biker friends she had. The family would like to thank her lifelong friend Pam (Thwaites) Ross and her significant other Ken Grummet for their special care of her while she was in hospice.
In keeping with Karen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private ceremony will be held to honor her life. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Karen’s memory to Corewell Health Hospice.
