Karen Lee (Hoogerhyde) Hamelink

Karen Hamelink born November 10,1945 was called home on August 16 ,2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Dorothy Hoogerhyde. She will be deeply missed by her kids Mike (Deb) Snyder Tina (Doug) Timmers. She also has four grandkids Jon, Jake, Rachel, Hailey. She will be missed by her sister Terri (Roger) De Wit and brother Jim (Sharon) Hoogerhyde.

She was a special Ed bus driver for Kentwood Public School for 25 years. She was very involved with the Kent County Education Association.  

Karen in her younger days raced cars. She loved animals. She had a horse named Red which she rode a lot.

The family would like to thank Faith Hospice for all their care. She loved angels. In memory of Karen please get an angel ornament and hang it on your Christmas tree.

The family will receive visitors on Friday August 20 from 4.30 to 7.30 at Memorial Alternatives 2432 Fuller Ave N.E
