Kevin T. McDaniel

Kevin Thomas “Wahoo” McDaniel, age 73, of Ada, Michigan went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 17,2025.  Kevin will be deeply missed by his wife Lynn, son Michael (Elizabeth) McDaniel, his grandchildren Jacob & Grace, his sister Kim (Anthony) Feeney, and his brothers and sister’s in-law, Gail (Mike) Katts, Deborah DeWit, Gene (Kathy) Schweiger, Brian (Diane) Schweiger, John (Sue) Schweiger, Clara Monaco, many nieces and nephews and friends. 

Kevin enjoyed vacationing with Lynn and others to Clearwater Florida (which he still considered home), Cabo San Lucas Mexico, Las Vegas, and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He also enjoyed watching sports and supported his home town teams, including his Wolverines. Kevin was passionate about the ongoing research and development of science and donated his body to Wayne State University. 

A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held on July 31, 2025 at the American Legion Post 179, located at 2327 Wilson Ave SW Grand Rapids, MI 49534 at 12pm.  The Honors ceremony with the Kent County Honor Guard will begin at 12:15pm. A time to gather and memory Kevin’s life following the service.
