Kimberly A. Hansen

Kimberly Ann Hansen, age 67, of Allendale, Michigan passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Born on April 27, 1958, she was the daughter of Andrew and Marian (Hinken) Vlietstra and lived in the area for most of her life.

Kim loved her furry friends who always kept her company, especially after the passing of her beloved “Bill” William K. Hansen on March 7 of this year with whom she was married for over 20 years. A spunky gal with a mind all her own, Kim knew how to keep everyone on their feet, and then some! She dabbled in gardening, enjoyed all things pretty, country and rock music, and fast cars.

She is survived by her children, Fred (Angela) Brown, Monique (Daniel Crow) Higbee; stepson, Lucus (Mimi) Hansen; cherished grandchildren; her sister, Carol (Curt) Hansen; brothers, Paul Vlietstra, Kenneth (Peggy) Keller, Norman Keller; sister-in-law, Karen Vlietstra; special cousin and friend, Teresa Gibson; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; dear friends and neighbors who were like family to Kim, and her friends at Cedar Church.

Along with her husband Bill, she is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Vlietstra, Marian and Kenneth Keller Sr.; brothers, Ronald Vlietstra and Daniel Keller; sisters, Natalie “Nan” Keller and Amy Keller.

A private family burial will take place at Allendale Township Cemetery and a Memorial Service to celebrate Kim's homegoing will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, 11:00 AM at Cedar Church, 2025 Baldwin St., Jenison, MI 49428. Friends may join Kim's family following the service at the church for a time of visiting and fellowship.
