Kimberly A. (Potter) Olinger

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kimberly Olinger (Potter), who left us on September 29, 2024. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and a fantastic sister. Kimberly was an outstanding member of the community with a focus and love for our veterans.

Kimberly was born September 8, 1958 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Llewellyn and Susan Potter (Hull). She is preceded in death by her parents and younger sister Beverly Ter Beek (Potter).

Kimberly leaves behind her husband John Olinger, daughter Anissa (Ryan) Rader, and her grand daughter Everlee Rader. She is survived by her sister Donna (Bryce) Sheneman and nieces Katelyn Sheneman and Allyson Sheneman (partner Meghan Luby). Kimberly is also survived by her best friend Becky (Harlan) Vande Bunte and their children Jennifer and Chris who were like her own.

Kimberly will truly be missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday October 11, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 8pm at Memorial Alternatives located at 2432 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49505.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kimberly’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
