Kirt Alan Karlek

Kirt Karlek passed away peacefully on Sunday February 2, 2025 at the age of 62.  He was born in Grand Rapids on December 2, 1962 to the late Richard and Margaret Karlek.  Kirt will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Alyssa Karlek, son Nathan Karlek, sister Betty Berggren, brother Kris Karlek and Kirt’s former wife Deb Karlek.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sons Nicholas and Tyler Karlek. 

Kirt was an avid reader.  He enjoyed golfing, taking road trips and sight-seeing for hawks and eagles.  Most of all, Kirt enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He will be deeply missed.
