Larry Sawyer Obituary

Larry Douglas Sawyer, aged 74 of Grand Rapids, went home to be with Jesus Friday, November 26th, 2021.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carol Sawyer of 44 yrs; daughters Lisa (Shawn) Scott, Shannon (Ross) Drayton, Jena (Dewey) Lyons; grandchildren Kasi, Cody, Conor, Cameron, Genny; great grandchildren Afton, Oliver; Sister Gail (Mike) Kathan; several nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Rolland & Marie; Brother Greg.

He honorably served, as Master Sergeant, in the National Guard for almost 40 years.

Larry was loved by many and helped anyone in need. His family was proud to call him; husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Due to Covid we will hold a celebration of life once we can safely gather.
