Margaret Adele (Shea) Stoutenburg

Margaret Stoutenburg (better known as “EO” or “Peggy Shea”) aged 98, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 9, 2020. Peggy loved to dance, loved classic jazz, and loved her cats. She had a sharp wit, an infectious laugh, was a great cook and anyone who met her loved her. Peggy grew up in Annapolis, MD, and was a die-hard Navy football fan.

She spoiled her grandchildren, and was always ready to listen and to offer words of encouragement. She is survived by her children, Michael Ruffin of Charlotte, NC, Roger Ruffin (Allison Eno) of Ada, MI and Nancy Stoutenburg of Portland, OR, her grandchildren, Corey Ruffin, Lindsey Ruffin (Joshua McBryde), Shea Ruffin and many many friends.

There will be a private family ceremony honoring EO at a later date. In her memory, please consider donations to the Humane Society of West Michigan.
