Mark Luptowski Obituary

Mark S. Luptowski passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2021 following a battle with COVID-19 that exacerbated an underlying lung condition.

Mark was born on February 12, 1959, the beloved only child of Saveryn and Felicia (Bladecki) Luptowski. He grew up in Bay City and spent much of his adult life in Ann Arbor before settling in Grand Rapids.

Whether he was cleaning labs and hospital rooms, performing in a band, feeding critters in the park, or sharing his honest thoughts, he found ways to break through boundaries, release his inner child, and create meaningful connections. He was a kindred spirit to many and will be greatly missed.

At his request, cremation has taken place. While no formal service will be arranged, Mark would have been humbled if you celebrated his life with the community in which you knew him.
