Marlene Rita (Herpolsheimer) Therriault, Beaton

Marlene R. Beaton, aged 87 of Grand Rapids passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Herpolsheimer and Elaine Scott.

She is survived by 2 daughters Renee (Thomas Credeur) Therriault, Kathy (Dale) Sholty; 2 sons Donald Therriault, Edward (Julie) Therriault; 5 grandsons Kyle Therriault, Chad Therriault, Casey Therriault, Lukas Therriault, Gary Sholty; 2 great-grandchildren Achelle Therriault, and Peyton Therriault. Marlene spent her youth at Marywood Academy and summers at her grandmother's cottage at Bill's Lake with her dog, Pal. She graduated from Grand Rapids Central High School in 1949 and was a graduate of Michigan State University in 1954 where she met her first husband, Donald R. Therriault. Later in life Marlene enjoyed dancing and spending her winters in Florida with her second husband Don Beaton. They both loved nature, animals and travel around Michigan.

There will be a memorial service to remember Marlene Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 1 - 3 PM at Vista Springs Riverside Gardens 2420 Coit Avenue NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505.
