Marvin Morrison

Marvin Morrison age 66, of Grand Rapids Michigan passed away peacefully on September 11, 2022. He is preceded in death by his father Calvin E.  Morrison and his brother Calvin J. Morrison. Marvin leaves behind his two children Kristy (Filipe) Moura Morrison, and Andrew Morrison along with four grand children and one great grandchild. Marvin is survived by his mother Marie Morrison and his four sisters Nancy Morrison, Linda Richards, Cheryl (William) Wilton, and Tina Morrison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his special friend Debbie Edwards.

Marv was a man of many joys who had a passion for the great outdoors. He loved to find the largest, loudest fireworks available for the fourth of July. He also enjoyed decorating the outside of his mother’s home every Christmas with so many lights you could see the house several streets over. Marv enjoyed wood working and building a variety of things. He also liked to go fishing, camping and garden his tomatoes in the summer months. Marv loved being outdoors and loved to spend as much time with his family as well. Marv will truly be missed by his family and those who were close to him.

A visitation will be held on Friday September 16, 2022 at Memorial Alternatives located at 2432 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids Michigan 49505 from 5pm to 8pm
