On Friday, February 14, 2020, Mary “Alice” Kelly, aged 86 of Grand Rapids, Michigan went to be with the Lord and her her loving husband Bud of 52 years who preceded her in 2004.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary; Sister, Rosie; brother, Tom (Jill). She is survived by her loving children, Chris Kelly, Lisa Kelly, Jim Kelly; granddaughter, Megan Kelly; 2 sisters, Delores Bour, Nancy (Steve) Solomon; brother, Edward (Bobbi) Sobczak; several nieces, nephews and cousins and her work family at South Side Storage.
Alice was an avid golfer, loved the beach, boating and going to the casino. She loved to watch the Detroit Tigers and was a life long fan. She was a founding member of St. Mary Magdalen serving as organist.

The shelter provides 18 picnic tables with attached bathroom. For those who prefer to dine outside of the shelter area, please bring lawn chairs to easily social distance. A large amount of space is available surrounding the shelter to place lawn chairs.
CHURCH REQUIREMENTS: Due to COVID-19, St. Mary Magdalen Church requires the following for all who attend service:
1) MASKS/ FACE COVERINGS: All members who are two years of age and older will need to bring and wear their own face covering to attend service. Holy communion may not be received in the hand if you are wearing gloves.
2) SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE PRACTICED: Pews will be taped off to achieve proper social distancing. Individuals who are not members of the same household will need to sit at least 6 feet away in all directions from others.
3) EXTRA SANITIZATION WILL BE IN PLACE: Ushers or volunteers will be wiping down frequently touched surfaces between Masses. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer.
NOTE: Due to church service time requirements, only ( 2) people are able to speak during church mass. Please gather with us at the luncheon to share favorite memories of our amazing Alice and dine on some delicious food.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of West Michigan, or pay it forward to someone in need.
