Marylou Orent age 61 of Allendale, Michigan passed away on April 30, 2022. She is survived by her husband of thirty-five years Ronald Orent, their two children Samuel and Stephenie Orent, and Marylou’s parents Robert and Pauline Corbett of Peru New York.

Marylou proudly served her country in the United States Navy for six years. After her time of service, she completed X-Ray school and became a Mammographer. Marylou loved her family very much, and enjoyed spending time boating and having campfires with them. She also liked to attend a variety of sporting events including seeing the West Michigan White Caps and the Grand Rapids Griffins. She enjoyed spending her free time gardening, bird watching, and sewing all different types of apparel. Marylou always loved her travels. She had the opportunity to travel the world and enjoyed many places including Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Marylou was always an absolute delight and will truly be missed. A visitation will take place on Friday May 6, 2022 at Memorial Alternatives located at 2432 Fuller Ave Ne Grand Rapids Michigan from 3pm to 7pm.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Marylou’s honor to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
