Matthew William Timmers of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away unexpectedly March 23, 2025.

He is survived by his daughter Grace Timmers, his son Alex Timmers, brother Ted Pasche, sisters Kindra VanSlyke and Beth Morris.

Matthew is preceded in death by his Father Larry Timmers, Mother Joanne Johnson and stepfather Glen Johnson.

Matt was a wonderful father who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his children.  He was incredibly proud of the beautiful young woman Grace became and her love of travel.  Watching Alex play baseball gave him great joy and he looked forward to the start of the season every year.

Matt was a graduate of Hudsonville High School.  He ran his own painting business for over 20 years.  Matt's favorite pastime was golfing, he loved watching the sun rise and set and was always capturing beautiful pictures to share with others to start or end their day.

You will be forever missed as a father, brother, and friend.
