Michael B. Beia

It is with a heavy heart we share the passing of our beloved son, Michael Brandon Beia, on March 19, 2025, at the age of 44. Michael was born on October 24, 1980, in Marne, Michigan and grew up surrounded by love, laughter, and shared his love and trust with so many people.

Michael came into this world with many health issues but, that did not slow him down. He went to many special schools to help him get along in this world. Over the years he worked with a variety of teachers, social workers, assistants, and doctors were affected by Michael. He leaves behind many memories for the people who were in his life, and his personality touched everyone he had the pleasure of knowing him. Whether he was enjoying a day at school, bowling with his fellow schoolmates or going on family excursions, Michael’s presence was always known by everyone. Michael’s favorite things to do were so simple, he didn’t want the newest game out there, or new clothes, or extravagant things. All he ever wanted to do was to go to Walmart, Menards, Meijer or General Dollar. He loved 3 Musketeer bars and Caffeine free Diet Coke. Michael truly was a gift from God.

Michael leaves behind his parents Pam Beia (Mark Schneider) and Michael Beia, his Special Uncle, Randy Franklin. He is survived by his siblings Jaime Straight (Sarah Edwards), Jeffrey Beia and sister Brittany Beia-Potter (Nick Potter). His niece and nephews that he loved seeing all the time, Addilyn Wilson, Harper and Levi Potter, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins who adored him. Michael is predeceased by his grandparents Howard and Betty Franklin and George and Delores Beia whom he has now joined in Heaven.

Michael’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Michael’s care team social work: Mandi Schebor, caregiver: Nakeasha Burdy, in-home doctor: Dr. Weiss, Dr. Mohammed and his whole team at Spectrum Health, along with so many others that were involved in Michael’s health and care.

Michael, you will forever remain in our hearts and be missed dearly. We love you endlessly. You brought so much joy, laughter and life’s lessons to us.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Saturday March 29, 2025 at Saint Mary’s Church Hall located at 15164 Juniper Drive Marne, Michigan 49435 from 12:00pm to 4:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to share their memories and celebrate the beautiful life he lived.
