Michael A. Lemon

Michael Anthony Lemon age 67 of Rockford, Michigan passed away peacefully on March 8, 2024. Born September 2, 1956 to the late Richard and Mary Lemon, Michael is one of four children. Over his working career he worked as Service Writer for VanderHyde Ford of Cedar Springs, and Service Writer/Service Manager for Ed Kohen Ford of Wayland. Later, Michael retired from PJ Tube where he was a machinist. Michael loved fishing, hunting, camping and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He had a great talent for woodworking and loved gambling. Michael was always so proud of his lawn and was an avid duck collector. Most important Michael loved spending time with his family.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Mary Lemon, brother Richard Lemon Jr. and his Daughter Dodie Ferguson.

Michael leaves behind his loving wife of twenty years, Kelly Oswald Lemon, and his two children Michael Lemon Jr., Elizabeth Lemon (Justin Hall). He also leaves behind his first wife Susan Kaye Lemon of eighteen years, whom was the mother to his children along with fifteen grandchildren Trenton Parker, Tanner Parker, Tyler Ferguson, Trinity Parker, Alyssa Ferguson, Chase Ferguson, Christopher Ferguson, Chris Ferguson, Annastasia Lemon, Nikolai Lemon, Ashton Hall, Caiden Hall, Evan Hall, Grayson Hall and Iverson Hall. Michael leaves behind his three siblings Roxanne Green, Kevin (Heidi) Lemon, and Kara Oswald. He also leaves behind a special Grand Mother Rebecca Dunlap of Belding along with many wonderful Nieces and Nephews and many Great Nieces and Nephews.

A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held June 1, 2024 at Algoma Township Hall located at10531 Algoma Ave. NE Rockford, MI. 49341 from 1pm to 5pm.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to help with medical expenses, and other expenses.
