Montaness "Monte" Lowe Obituary

Montaness MarClare Lowe was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Annette Lowe and Gerald Sanders. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annette Lowe, his father Gerald Sanders, and special friends/brothers Nicholas “Bean” Ingram and Lamont “Money” Nelson.

Montaness attended Forest Hills Northern and received his GED in 2019. In 2021, Montaness graduated from West Michigan CDL. He was employed as a semi-truck driver at Get Fresh Produce in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Monte was a devoted father, provider and protector whose time on earth ended too soon. Montaness took pride in his role as a father to his three children, Montaness Lowe Jr., LaeOnah Lowe, and Noah Lowe.

Montaness leaves to cherish his memory his children; Montaness Lowe Jr., LaeOnah Lowe, Noah Lowe; his sister Shalyn Lowe; nephew Shermahn Hickman, special friend/brother Darion “Duke” Monroe. He worked hard not just for survival, but to build a foundation for his children.

We trust that Montaness is now at rest, embraced by God’s eternal peace and watching over his loved ones with the same quiet strength he showed in life.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” - 2 Timothy 4:7

From your son Junior-
Few like his with virtue warmed
Few heads with knowledge so informed
If there’s another world he lives in bliss
If there is none, he made the best of this.

From Lae to Daddy-
Daddy I miss you and love you

From Noah to Daddy-
I love you from the top to the bottom of my heart

Brother,
You had a light the world could feel,
A spirit strong, a soul so real.
In every smile, in every style,
You walked your truth, mile by mile.

Though years were few, your impact wide,
A quiet strength you held with pride.
A crown was yours, both bold and Black,
The world is dimmer with you not back.

The laughter shared, the love you gave,
Still echoes in our hearts
Your journey short, your legacy long—
A fleeting note, a lasting song.

Now rest, sweet soul, your work is done,
You rose too early with the sun.
But in our hearts, you still remain
Shalyn
