Nikki M. (Johnson) Dinda stepped up to the plate in Lansing, Michigan on September 25, 1973, and slid into home for the final time in Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 15, 2026.
Nikki lived life with heart, humor, and determination. A proud graduate of Chippewa Hills High School, Class of 1991, she carried her Warrior spirit forward as she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Ferris State University. She built a fulfilling and successful career in her field, something she took great pride in.
A lover of sports from an early age, Nikki played basketball, cheered, and ran track in high school. That passion never faded—throughout her adult life, you could often find her on the softball field or enjoying a game of pool. Whether competing or just having fun, she brought laughter, energy, and a spark that made every moment brighter.
Nikki’s laughter was unforgettable—warm, genuine, and often contagious. She had a way of bringing people together, making them feel at ease, and filling a room with joy.
Her faith was a steady source of strength throughout her life. She carried with her the powerful reminder from Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” a verse that reflected her resilience and spirit.
More than anything, Nikki loved her family. They were her greatest pride and her deepest joy. She treasured every moment spent with them, and her love will continue to live on in the memories they share.
She leaves behind her three beautiful daughters, Danae Langan, Alissa Langan-Cole (Andrew Cole), and Addisyn Dinda, along with her five amazing grandchildren, Bentley, Jayce, Kolten, Mia, and Koda.
