Patricia Ann Carrel

Patricia Ann Carrel age 80, went home to her Lord and Savior on November 11, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Manoogian and her mother Gladys Naughton. Patricia is widowed to Robert VanderLaan, Howard Yost, and John Carrel. Patricia is also preceded in death by her son in-law Robert Kinziger. She is survived by her only daughter Laura (Dan) Maclam, and two grandchildren Kayley (Robert) Doyle and Trevor Hulst. Patricia is also survived by her six stepchildren Jim (Cary) Carrel, Dan (Bonny) Carrel, John Carrel, Tim Carrel, Tom Yost and Sharron Barnett. Patricia had many joys and passions. In Patricia’s younger years she was an accomplished ballet dancer and violinist. As time carried on, she found a joy for gardening flowers and watching old movies. Patricia enjoyed preparing great meals and spending time with her family and close friends. Patricia was a devoted Christian and enjoyed participating in the church choir. Patricia will be truly missed by those who knew her. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday November 17, 2021 at 12:00 PM (noon) at Grandville Baptist Church, 4325 40th St SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mel Trotter Ministries.
