Paul Sund passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on August 29, 2023, at the age of 71 in his hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Bernice, and brother Dave. Paul is survived by his wife, Sally, his three daughters Shannan, Chris, and Amy (Tyler), and his grandchildren Aniessa, Mariah, Julian, and Kinsley, along with his great grandchildren Jaivyn, Maya, and Xavier. Paul was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His memory will be forever treasured by his family.

Paul worked for a plating company and enjoyed snow plowing in his earlier years.

After he retired, you could find him in his garage or underneath the hood of a car. He enjoyed working on cars, gambling, watching sports, and taking naps in his free time.

Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of kindness, strength, courage, and love will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
