Phyllis Ethel (Mallory) Osbon

Phyllis E. Osbon passed away peacefully on November 8, 2021 at the age of 99, in Grand Rapids, MI. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Osbon; sister Ruby Quertinmont and brother in law Ed Quertinmont.
She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Ottenjan and son in law Gary Ottenjan; the Quertinmont family, Susie Smith, Tom & Linda Quertinmont, Carol Conger and families.
She was born February 12, 1922 in Maumee, Ohio where she met George Osbon and they were married. They made their home in Grand Rapids, MI where they both worked at Meijer Inc for many years.
She will be greatly missed by best friend Donna Lee & Earl Holton, Kim Holton, Jackie & Brian Holton, Mike & Joanne Holton, Elizabeth & Jon Dolce and children, the Ottenjan Family, Kris & Tony Rohloff, Katy & Jordan Salinas, Maddee & Joe Dekkenga, Thomas Rohloff, Tyler Rohloff & Abbey Heidenga,  Bryan & Marlene Hull, Rebecca & Chad, Jameson, Kaelynn Klumpstra, Eric & Calli Hull, Kelli, Jim, Laci & Georgia Wiseman, Jody & Chris Mapother and family, Pat & Liz Durkee and many other friends that she loved.
We want to thank Spectrum Health Hospice, Amanda her kind and compassionate hospice nurse that was there during her final days of life.  Bishop Hills Assisted Living - the care my mother received when we left eased my mind to know she was in good hands.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed the holidays and loved to bake cookies, pies and her famous fried chicken. She loved to sew, read and spending time with all of her beloved dogs. I know that Kody, Brody and all the other dogs were waiting for my mom.
She will be dearly missed and will be forever in our hearts.
Family will greet friends at a visitation to remember Phyllis, Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Memorial Alternatives, 2432 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI
