Raymond Allen Saucier

Raymond “Ray” Allen Saucier was born in Roger City on January 16th, 1954, to Lawrence and Betty Saucier (Krey), as well as being lovingly raised by his stepmother, Sharon Saucier. Ray suddenly passed on the morning of April 24, 2025, after battling multiple health issues. The family is at peace now knowing he is reunited with the love of his life Donna. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, brothers – Lee and Drew Saucier, and most recently, his cherished wife, Donna Saucier.

  Ray served in the United States Army, after completing his service and being honorably discharged, He began working alongside his dad at Larry’s Garage as a mechanic immersing himself in the world of cars and motorcycles.  His passion for the open road and the machines that carried him never faded.

In his free time, Ray enjoyed playing poker, visiting the casino, enjoying a good home-cooked meal from his wife, spending time with his girls (daughters) and his plentiful grandchildren, watching old westerns, listening to Elvis and old country music, and enjoying a house full during the holidays. Overall, he was always ready for whatever life brought his way, causing trouble, and occasionally running his mouth and making jokes. Ray also had a deep affection for his cats and loved them dearly.

He is survived by his daughters, Nina Saucier-Kline (Shad Kline), Corina Dominguez (Junior Dominguez), and his stepdaughter, Billie Jo DeBoer. Ray’s legacy continues through his grandchildren: Zach Saucier (Abby Saucier), Erika DeBoer, Bret Priest, Brittney Rupe, Alyson Kline, Tori Vandrunen, Alexis Strickland, Tre “Boo” Dominguez, Izabella Dominguez, Adalena Dominguez, and his great-grandchildren Bryson Callahan, Elijah DeBoer, Zaiden and Amariann Conley, and Iliza and Maddox Saucier.  He also leaves behind a sister in-law, Brenda Saucier, several nieces and nephews, many close buddies, and his extended family.

Ray will be remembered for his love of family, his mechanical talents, his loyalty to those he cared for, and the countless memories he made along the way.

He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

A celebration of Ray’s life will be planned, and details will be shared at a later date.
