Reah Kay (DeYoung) Johnson

Reah DeYoung Johnson age 59, of Wayland, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 20, 2021.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 6 years Shawn, daughter Kaite Stouten, son Eric Stouten II, granddaughter Aria Stouten, mother Kathleen DeYoung, sisters, Ann (Daniel) Russell, Sandra (Brad) Niese, Carol (Joseph Szarowicz) DeYoung, brother Gail (Heather Friedriechsen) DeYoung and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Gail DeYoung and son Nicholaus Stouten.  

From crochet to knitting to making sock monkeys, Reah loved making crafts.  She also enjoyed watching her nephew Jack race cars at Berlin Raceway.  A few favorite pastimes included camping and travelling with family and friends.  She will be truly missed.  A celebration of her life will be held on December 9, starting with visitation at 2:00 p.m. followed by church services at 3:00 p.m. at New Community Church, 2340 Dean Lake Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505.
