Rebecca "Becki" Jester

Rebecca L. Jester (Becki) age 72 of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents Norman and Barbara Jester and her three brothers Robert Jester, Hal Jester and Douglas Jester.

Rebecca leaves behind her two daughters; Marie Jester and Susan Powers, her loving partner of twenty-five years Rick Woodard and their beloved dog Meika. She also leaves behind her two sisters; Pamela (James) Young and Brenda (Kraig) Spayde, her two sister in-laws; Yun Jester, and Patricia Jester along with many special  nieces, nephews and G.D.C.

Becki was a creative, artistic person with a great sense of humor and a loving heart. Family was special to her and gatherings were always memorable. She had a knack for storytelling and sharing memories, that kept everyone enthralled or rolling in laughter- especially her nieces and nephews. Becki stayed young at heart and she was admired for that.

A special thank you to her daughter Marie for her loving care of Becki during home hospice and to Marj Timmerman for her willingness to help.

Becki will truly be missed by her family and friends.

Following Becki’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
