Richard (Jr.) Post

Richard Post Jr. age 64 of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away on April 18, 2024. Richard is preceded in death by his mother Marilyn Post. He leaves behind his only daughter Brittney (Matt) Bouchard and his two grandchildren Leah and Maddalyn. He also leaves behind his father Richard Post, two sisters Cristin Post, Susan Post and two nephews Nathan Post and Caleb Oliver along with numerus cousins and friends. 

Richard was a kind and simple man. He loved the great outdoors; he enjoyed spending time at the beach and going up north. By trade Richard was a cabinet builder but he loved to spend time in his work shop building jewelry boxes and other items. Richard enjoyed a verity of different types of movies but his favorite type of movie to watch were western movies. He was also an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with his cat Sophie. Richard will truly be missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday May 11,2024 at Second Congregational Church located at 525 Cheshire Drive NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505 with a time to visit one hour prior to service.
