Richard Wierenga Obituary

Richard Charles Wierenga, age 82, of Jenison, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Maureen. Richard retired from General Motors after 38 years of service.

His five children survive Richard; Kate (Rick) Ruemenapp, Kelly Robinson, Michael (Kelly) Wierenga, Patrick Wierenga, and MaryBeth (Michael) Champrenault, as well as nine grandchildren: Morgan, Jacob, Molly, Sam, Emma, Joshua, Luke, Natalie and Jenna. As Richard requested, cremation has taken place. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral service.
