Obituary
Bloodworth, Robert D. (Bob) age 82 of Grand Rapids went home to be with his Lord and Savior on
April 15, 2023 after a long illness. Bob was born June 14, 1940 in Cleveland, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Esther Bloodworth, brother, George and mother-in-law, Charity Teitsma. He will be remembered and greatly missed by his soulmate and wife of 30 years, Joyce and his cherished children and grandchildren: Don Callender, Rob and Cindy Jones (Logan, Jacob and Emily),Jeff Jones, Kathie and Chad Stanford (Makenzie and Xavier.) He is also survived by his sister Marilynn (Karl) Goering, brother James (Kathy) Bloodworth, father-in-law, Robert Teitsma, brother-in-law Robert Teitsma (Joan) and sister-in-laws: Pat Bloodworth and Karen Vanden Berg (Don) along with many nieces and nephews.
The service to remember and celebrate Bob’s life will be held on 24th of April at 1 pm at Magnify Church, 6727 Kuttshill Dr. NE, Rockford (Enter in Door One.) You are invited to visit with the family beginning at 12:30 pm and for a time immediately following the service. The family wishes to thank Emmanuel Hospice for their care of Bob during the past months. For those who wish, memorial contributions to either Magnify Church or Emmanuel Hospice are appreciated.
