Robert Thomas Godlewski passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 17, 2025,
He was born on October 27, 1953 to the late Irene (Novikoski) Godlewski and John Godlewski.
Bob was a strong, kind person who was always very proud of his accomplishments. He was so good to his family and would do anything he could to help out his boys.
We can’t believe everything he did for us. We love him so much.
He was a passionate woodworker, and we have many beautifully crafted items that are now true treasures. He also enjoyed camping, fishing at the family cottage, boating, grilling, and campfires. He always had time for a corny joke.
In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his brother, Michael John Godlewski, niece Julie (Bill) Orndorff, father-in-law Lester Bouwma and mother-in-law Mary Louise Bouwma.
Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ann Renee (Bouwma) Godlewski, his sons Jason Billin and Andrew Billin, granddaughter Caitlyn (Dylan) Jenerou, great grandsons Levi and Knox Jenerou.
He will be dearly missed by his twin sister Julie (Ron) Schild, brothers-in-law David Bouwma, Michael Bouwma and Thomas (Betty) Bouwma. nieces and nephews Jennifer (Brent) Hulst, Rachelle (Dean) Korson, Richard (Natalie) Schild, Rachael Bouwma, Ashley Bouwma, Marty Bouwma, Eric Godlewski, Michael Godlewski, Kristi (Carlos) Martinez, along with many great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Trinity Health Hospice for their compassion and help they provided during Bob's last days.
