Robert "Bob" Sornsen

Robert "Bob" James Sornsen, 53, of Grand Rapids, Mich., formerly of St. Joseph went to be with his Lord in Heaven on Nov. 1, 2024.

He leaves behind his wife of 15 years, Theresa (Smith) Sornsen; daughter, Jessie (Sornsen) Beilharz of Taylorsville, N.C., and sister, Lisa (Sornsen) Bradshaw of Monterey, Tenn.

Robert is preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine (Sornsen) Langston in 2022; his mom, Joyce Sornsen in 2018 and his dad, Harvey Sornsen in 2006.

Robert loved Jesus Christ and along with his wife, was a devout member of New Life Church in Grand Rapids. He also loved watching football, being a machinist, keeping up with the weather, telling corny jokes and praying for his daughter. He will be forever in our hearts.
