Robert L. Weed

Robert Lee Weed age 83, passed away on September 15, 2025. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years Donna, his two daughters Kelly Weed-Schrader (Kim) and Jamie Stanton (Dan), along with his grandson Terrin Garrow.

Aside from time served in the US Navy, Robert spent his life Grand Rapids, Michigan. He loved the outdoors spending time snowmobiling in winters, and the summers fishing with his grandson and motorcycle touring with his wife. His love of the outdoors instilled a sense of appreciation in all of his family, particularly his daughters. Long hikes and nature walks were always a pleasure as he shared his knowledge of plants and wildlife.

Robert was also a skilled millwright. He was the man who could fix anything and took pride in his work. Friends and family often called on him for his help with projects.

A memorial mass will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 to remember Robert at Saint Anthony of Padua Church 2510 Richmond St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504 at 11a.m.
