On Wednesday, October 14, 2020, Heaven gained a beautiful angel as Robin Lynn Knobloch-Walker found her angel wings at the age of 65.
Robin lost her battle to kidney cancer and a very long history of Rheumatoid arthritis. She was strong and brave through it all with her stubborn sense of motivation and will that proved true right until the end.
Robin was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Walker who passed in 2007, her parents, Joan and Jim Telfer, and her father, Dale Knobloch.
Robin leaves behind her beloved daughter, Christy (John) Kendall, grandchildren, Brooke, Bret, Joshua Kendall, along with a special nephew, Robert Ricketts II who was like a son to her, her brother, two sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Robin also leaves behind the large Walker Family, too many to list but she loved each and every one of them and they have always been there for her; a rock after Terry died. A true testament that you can have a loving family regardless of being blood related.
Robin had many good friends lasting most of her lifetime. She loved them all and did her best to stay connected. She was a true friend; a blessing to so many.
Anyone who knew Robin would say she was the most selfless person they ever met. She would take the shirt off her back or give her last dollar to help someone else, and never turned down anyone in need. She had the most forgiving heart and never judged anyone.
She always loved to look her best, even if she was wearing her pajamas she still took the time to accessorize with matching jewelry.
If cleaning counts as a hobby, she mastered that one; always cleaning, organizing and getting things done. She also loved canning, golfing when she wasn’t ill, reading, cooking and we can’t forget the endless episodes of the Hallmark Channel or going to the beach.
Everyone who knew Robin will miss her laughter, her sarcasm and so much more.
Respecting Robin’s wishes, cremation has taken place and in place of a service or flowers, Robin has requested a donation in her honor to: RA Foundation, 8815 Conroy Windermere Rd. Suite 309, Orlando FL 32835 https://www.helpfightra.org/ If it weren’t for her Rheumatoid doctor, she wouldn’t have had the quality of life she had for so many years leading up to her cancer.
