Ronald Luce

Ron Luce, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Ron lived a fulfilling life, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

 Ron was hardworking, fun, loving, helpful and loyal. He never met a stranger. Born on October 13, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, Ron was a dedicated family man who worked at General Motors for 41 years. He was an avid Red Wings fan and lifelong blood donor.

For 62 years, Ron shared his journey with his devoted wife, Lita, whose unwavering love and support were a constant source of joy, laughter, and comfort.

Ron's greatest joy was his family. Ron and Lita passed down the “Luce Smile” to their children Wendy, Jeff, Amy and Kristy. They, and their spouses, Pete, Kana, Vince, and John will miss him beyond measure. Ron and Lita’s family grew even larger with the addition of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He took immense pride in being a grandfather.

 In addition to his devotion to family and friends, Ron was also known for his charitable nature and acts of service. He believed in giving back to the community and selflessly volunteered his time to Habitat for Humanity, his church, and neighbors making a positive impact on the lives of many. We find solace in the memories we hold dear, knowing that his spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

A celebration of Ron's life will be held in the fall. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Habitat for Humanity – and that you spread a bit of kindness in your community - in his honor. Rest in peace, dear sweet Ron. You will be deeply missed and always remembered.
