Obituary

Ronald “Ron” Murphy aged 87 of Grand Rapids went to his heavenly home Sunday, January 10, 2021.

He was preceded in death by several siblings. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Della; 3 children, Larry Murphy, Peri (James Ager) Murphy, Deborah (Gary) Albrecht; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Marie Morrison; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ron retired from Pioneer Construction in 1995 and was a long time member of North Park Presbyterian Church.

Due to Covid, private services were held.

The family would like to thank staff at Vista Springs Northview and Emmanuel Hospice for the care and kindness shown to Ron. Memorial contributions can be sent to North Park Presbyterian Church, 500 North Park St. NE Grand Rapids, MI 49525 or Alzheimer’s Association, West Michigan
